Musician, music therapist and facilitator of expressive experiences through music and movement.

For more than thirty years, my work has explored the relationship between sound, creativity, presence and human connection.

After studying classical music and jazz at the Civic School of Jazz in Milan, I developed an artistic path that brought together performance, improvisation, folk and world music, education, music therapy and expressive movement.

Throughout the years, I have performed in concerts, festivals, theatrical productions and multidisciplinary projects, while also working in educational, social and therapeutic settings with children, adults and people with disabilities.

A significant part of my journey has been dedicated to the encounter between music and movement. For many years I accompanied workshops in expressive dance, dance therapy and body awareness practices, discovering the transformative power that emerges when music becomes a living dialogue with the body.

This ongoing exploration eventually led to the creation of Into the Whale.

The Birth of Into the Whale

Into the Whale was born from the desire to create a space where music is not simply listened to, but experienced through movement.

The project combines organic electronic music with live instruments such as flutes, percussion and kalimba, creating immersive soundscapes that invite participants to move freely and reconnect with their own rhythm.

There is no choreography to learn and no performance to achieve.

Each journey unfolds as a collective exploration where music, movement and presence meet in a shared experience.

Drawing inspiration from Ecstatic Dance, music therapy, expressive arts and decades of work with groups, Into the Whale offers a welcoming environment where people can listen, explore and express themselves through the language of the body.

Every event is unique, shaped by the energy of the participants and by the living interaction between live music and movement.

Today

Today, Into the Whale is offered in festivals, cultural spaces, wellness events, retreats and community settings.

The project can take different forms, from introductory journeys to longer immersive experiences, adapting to the needs of each space and community.

At its core remains a simple invitation:

Slow down.

Listen.

Move.

Follow the music.

Follow the body.

And discover what emerges when music becomes movement and movement becomes presence.
